We hope your 2006 was as rewarding and successful as it was for Force 5 Media.  We could not have had as much fun, interesting conversations and absolutely perfect collaborations without each of you as our customers, business associates…and as our friends.

Over the past year, we have continued to learn more and more about fundraising as we help our Not-For-Profit clients, then there’s decorative concrete, and learning how a “green” hospital is built. And who would have thought the words genomic, proteomic and facial plastic surgery would be added to our vocabulary?

Besides working, the Force 5 crew has been having a good time too – mentoring, volunteering, looking for new homes, exhibiting our art, sailing, traveling, ND games, and enjoying our families and friends.

We usually don’t toot our own horn, but we will… to celebrate the beginning of a brand new year.

The MarCom 2006 Creative Awards competition announced winners last month. Our pro-bono client, The Center for the Homeless new website was recognized at the highest level receiving a Platinum Award. The identity system for another client in Chatsworth, CA, Revive Studios, received Honorable Mention. Of the 5,000 worldwide entries less than 15% were recognized. We believe the work speaks for itself, but we treasure the fact that our clients are willing to give us their goals, feedback and time….and the ability to translate those goals into solutions – blending the best of strategy and creative.

American Countryside Farmers Market opens May 24

Have you heard about American Countryside^®? Located in the heart of Amish Country, it is only twenty minutes outside of the city of South Bend and just minutes from Elkhart. On January 16th, American Countryside became Force 5's newest client and named us as their Agency of Record.

The Farmers Market, the first phase in American Countryside, will open over Memorial Day weekend. The market is the world's largest wood-peg barn – an amazing 51,450 square feet and built by four Amish construction crews. The Market boasts 490 vendor booths. You'll be able to gather locally grown produce, baked goods, fresh meat and flowers, discover hand-crafted items, and savor freshly prepared foods, all in the same venue. And, there will be plenty of family-centered entertainment.

Be sure to put a visit to the Farmer's Market on your to-do list, so you and your family can take advantage of a wonderful new addition to our community. The Grand Opening will have lots of games, prizes and activities - don't leave town over Memorial Day weekend, experience the American Countryside® Farmers Market.
